As our company name suggests, we deal in Asian art, i.e. arts and crafts from Asia.

The art trade was founded in 1932 by Consul Joseph Maximilian Hartl in Fuzhou, China.

Since 1978, our gallery has been located at Ludwigstraße 11 near Odeonsplatz in Munich. Here you will find a wide selection of Asian art and antiques from India to China and Southeast Asia. Now in our third generation, we are in contact with collectors, fairs and museums worldwide in order to always be able to offer our customers high-quality objects.

As a publicly appointed and sworn expert (emeritus) for art objects of Asian advanced civilisations, I will be happy to help you with the appraisal of your art objects in order to correctly assess the age, origin and value of a piece.
